“I purchased a Sojourn Ventures experience through HaleYes! Auction two years ago and spent a memorable week in Cortona, Italy last October.  Scroll down to join me in Cortona and picture yourself strolling through the town. Excellent communication before and during booking, amazing accommodation and support while there makes Sojourn Ventures unique in the travel world.

Are you thinking of going and have questions? Wondering how you would get to and from Cortona, about the accommodations and town? Tips after booking?  I am happy to answer them. Don't hesitate to get in touch! Email me at tina@nathanhalehsfoundation.org and we will fix a time to talk.”

Welcome to Cortona!

Enter your fabulous accomodation. Our front door was adjacent to the amazing Trattoria La Grotta and had a fun surprise waiting for us!

Piazza della Repubblica

Head out to the heart of Cortona, the Piazza della Repubblica, a two-minute stroll from our accommodation. Sit on the stairs of the Palazzo del Capitano with a gelato or a caffe, then come back in the evening for people watching and more gelato.

Explore!

Take a walk to the edge of the walled town, and peak into the lavenderia (pack light and do your wash here) on the way. Enjoy the view outside the wall, quintessential Tuscany!

Cafe Vittoria

Head to to the Caffe Vittoria for apertivo and vino, passing Teatro Signorelli.  Etruscan Academy Museum is just a few steps away, which you won't want to miss.

The little things that make travel easier

Packing light makes traveling in Italy so much easier. Do your wash at the local lavenderia (those pink walls!)

Exploring the side streets

Exploring the side streets in traffic free Cortona is a delight. You never know what you might discover.

The simple pleasures

There is always time for a bite or a drink in Cortona.
